Here's a really tasty recipe and how you can make your own Chips Ahoy! cookies. This recipe really is delicious. First obtain 4 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 2 teaspoons of salt, 1 cup of brown sugar, 1 cup of granulated sugar, 1.5 cups of vegetable shortening, 1.5 teaspoons of vanilla, 1 egg white, 2 tablespoons of warm water, and 12 ounces of chocolate chips. Mix the flour and baking soda together in a large bowl. Using a mixer, combine the two sugars and shortening and then add the egg white, salt and vanilla. Slowly add the flour to the mixture adding small amounts of warm water as needed. Next, add in the chocolate chips. Finally, press the mixture into small balls and push flat. Back slowly at 325 degrees for twelve to fifteen minutes. You're all done! |
